The Seneca Cayuga tribal food distribution was a great success. We had employee volunteers and nearly a dozen football teammates from Fairland show up to give us a hand! 

Over 1000 boxes were distributed to tribal members and to the tribal community as well as to the general public. Sallie White, Seneca Cayuga Nation, business committee member and coordinator of the food distribution shared the following: “It was an amazing day! I want to thank all the volunteers that helped bring it together. Thank you to Chris Arnold and his team, who is always available when we need them to keep everyone safe. A special thanks to the Fairland Owls football team and coach. It was truly an incredible day. Everyone pulled together to serve our nation’s families and our surrounding community.”
 

The grocery items included vegetables, fruit, potatoes, lettuce, apricots and other fresh goods. All of which were focused on enhancing the health of tribal members while offering premium groceries to the community per a grant from the USDA. As a long line of members lined their cars up, to receive their groceries, close to 1-2 boxes were distributed per family! Thankfully, due to a strong comradery of leadership from SCN tribe as well as selfless volunteers, the distribution was a tremendous success.
