Claims Information

There has been some false information put out on various social media concerning Claims.  To set the record straight:

1)  Claims is still set at a $2500 maximum, the only thing that has changed is EMERGENCY claims. Eligible tribal members 18yrs and older may only receive $500 in EMERGENCY claims per fiscal year.  If you have used up your $500 in EMERGENCY claims, you are still eligible for $2000 more in Dental, Eyeglasses, Hearing.

2)  Elders should always be filing claims only as Elders and are therefore exempt from the $500 EMERGENCY claim limit per fiscal year.

3)  There is now a full time person on staff to answer only Claims phone calls from 8am until 5pm with 1hr off for lunch.                       Phone 918-786-5576

Part-Time Surveillance Operator

The Seneca-Cayuga Nation is accepting applications for a part-time Surveillance Operator. This position will report directly to the Surveillance Manager. This position will be two days a week plus fill-in on an on-call basis. The Surveillance Operator will protect the assets of Grand Lake Casino and will possess knowledge of clandestine surveillance operations. Ability to operate surveillance equipment including but not limited to DVD’s, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras as assigned. Will provide personal observation of all departments to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance, adheres to attendance guidelines, regulatory departmental and company policies. Requirements will include High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, familiarity with camera equipment and methods of operations and recording, ability to operate a personal computer with the Windows operating system and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Housing Program Administrator

The Seneca-Cayuga Nation is accepting applications for a Housing Program Administrator. In Compliance with the Seneca-Cayuga Nation, Government Office Employees Personnel Policy, before applicants are solicited from outside the Nation, consideration shall be given to upgrading the existing staff according to the Nation’s Career Development Program. The Housing Program Administrator under the supervision of the Government Specialist is responsible for the research, planning, organization and implementation of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation’s Housing Program. Interprets Federal Housing Laws, Code of Federal Regulations, and NAHASDA Regulations as they relate to the housing needs of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation and the implementation of those regulations in the formulation and execution of Housing Laws, policies, codes and regulations specific to the Nation. Ability to submit appropriate grants for departmental growth and must have basic bookkeeping skills. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising and managing all functions arising through the course of implementation of the Nation’s Housing Program insuring compliance with applicable Federal/State laws, codes and regulations, and policies and procedures established by the Nation Housing Program and/or the Nation Business Committee. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction Management or like emphasis. Minimum of one year experience in the administration of a Nation, Federal or State Housing Program. Must be proficient in the use of office machines and personal computer. Applicant must possess the physical aptitude pertaining to home inspections and must be able to reach, push, bend and lift 30 to 50 lbs.
