Description: A Tribal Elder 52 years of age and older will be allowed a cap of $10,000 once in a lifetime this assistance does include the $2,500. A Elder Tribal member must be enrolled with the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe for not less than 20 years to be eligible for the once in a lifetime assistance of $10,000. If the Elder Tribal member does not meet the 20 year time frame of enrollment the elder will still be eligible to receive the yearly amount of $2,500. Once an Elder has been provided assistance in the amount of $10,000, it will not be allowed again, but assistance eligibility will revert back to the $2,500 fiscal year cap.

Eligibility: Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Members only

Requirements: Application must be complete with the following documented items.
1. Completed Tribal Elder Application with Signature (Tribal Member)
2. Copy of Tribal membership card(s) for all Tribal members in household.
3. Written statement by Tribal Member describing need.
4. Documentation of Assistance needs (i.e. billing statements, quotes, invoices etc…)
