Program name: Child Care & Development Fund

Description: Provides childcare assistance to not only Seneca-Cayuga families but to other qualifying Native families as well. We can establish day care providers as being a certified provider for our Tribal children.

Eligibility: There are income guidelines applicable and assistance is determined on the application information. Families must live within a one hundred mile radius of our Miami Tribal Office. Seneca-Cayuga tribal members and other qualifying Native American families are eligible for our program. Seneca-Cayuga families are served first and any positions left are filled by other Native American families on a first come first serve basis.

Assistance or Amount Available: Childcare assistance is determined on the application information. Each approved family is required to pay a copayment; the amount of copayment is determined by income.

Requirements: The income guidelines are based on a slide scale that is used state wide. The guidelines are based on net income and household size.
