The Seneca-Cayuga Housing Department offers the following assistance to eligible tribal members:
Rental Assistance
- Applicant must be a Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Member
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicant must reside within the 50-mile radius to apply and qualify
- Applicant household must meet federal income guidelines
- Household must have an income
- Must be moving into a new location to qualify
- Applicant or anyone residing in home can not have a history of drug and/or alcohol crimes
Down Payment Assistance
- Applicant must be a Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Member
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicant and residence must reside within the 50-mile radius to apply and qualify
- Applicant household must meet federal income guidelines
- Household must have an income
- Applicant must be able to get additional funding from outside institute
- Applicant or anyone residing in home can not have a history of drug and/or alcohol crimes
Rehabilitation and Modernization
- Applicant must be a Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Member
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicant and residence must be within the 50-mile radius to apply and qualify
- Applicant household must meet federal income guidelines
- Household must have an income
- Must provide proof of ownership
- Must provide copy of homeowners insurance
- Applicant or anyone residing in home can not have a history of drug and/or alcohol crimes
