To be eligible for the Seneca-Cayuga Higher Education Program you must be:
(1) A member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe.
(2) Attending an accredited institution of higher learning.
(3) Be enrolled as a full-time student.
(4) Have applied for assistance through the Federal Student Financial Aid Program.
Financial Aid Program:
(1) Have an "unmet need".
(2) Plan to obtain your first bachelor's degree.
Academic Requirements:
(1) All grantees must maintain acceptable academic standing and social conduct within the policies and rules of the institution attended and the Seneca-Cayuga Higher Education Program.
(2) All full-time students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours or more per semester.
(3) Additionally, students are advised to see a counselor or follow the program of study outlined in college catalogs for their degree program; this is done so that there will be no classes taken needlessly.
(4) Once on the program, student must maintain a 2.0 GPA, and 12 or more credit hours for the term funded for continued eligibility.
