2010 has been an exciting year for the Seneca-Cayuga tribe of Oklahoma. Utilizing grants the tribe was able to construct several new buildings on the tribal campus to assist tribal members. The Tribal Educational Resource/Career Center will house a library, computer lab and classroom which will be utilized for assisting tribal members needing internet access for job applications and resume assistance. Also completed was the new Substance Abuse building which houses the substance abuse program and counseling services. The new Wellness Center is under construction now and is scheduled for completion in early 2011. (Click on Wellness Center to see floor plan).
The upcoming year also holds excitement as the tribe continues to grow and look at other opportunities to expand its profit generating enterprises. The convenience store in New York is nearing completion and the purchase of a motel was completed with plans for refurbishing in the works.
